The design of the Artsakh ՛՛Leaf՛՛ rug dates back to the 14-15th centuries . The Artsakh design was not woven in large quantities and is considered to be very unique. The more popular and highly distributed rugs of the area included geometrical ,floral and zodiacal designs. Weavers and producers in various other countries considered this unique design as a classic inspiration and consequently began to design and weave similar rugs.
