Many Khachkhoran cross-shaped rugs were woven in Armenia and are part of the country’s century’s old rug weaving tradition. One of the most beautiful cross-shaped rugs is named the Khachkhoran, which belongs to the Artsakh rug family. The design dates back to the 10th-12thcenturies.
