This rug design belongs to the Lori region and carries the same name. The center of the rug displays an octagon motif featuring a sword-shaped cross embroidery, which is a symbol of infinity. On each side of the borders, there is a tree of life design decorated with pomegranates and flowers, reminiscent of life and longevity. The original rug dates back to the 17th-18th centuries and is on display at the Holy Echmiadzin Treasury Museum.
