The ”Star” collection of ornaments is derived from the ”Star” rug belonging to the Mush region of Western Armenia. The rug is divided into three sections, each featuring a large cubical panel surrounded by crosses, with a star at the center of each panel. The rug’s design dates approximately to the 8th–10th centuries.
