The design of the Anahit rug is based on the fairy tale ՛՛Anahit and Vachagan՛՛, in which Anahit, a simple girl, forces the prince to learn to weave rugs. Later, the crown prince learns to weave rugs under Anahit’s pressure because he wanted to marry Anahit. Later, during the war, King Vachagan is captured, and at that time he asks the king of the enemy state to let him weave a rug, in which he writes a letter addressed to Anahit. In the letter, he reveals the place of his captivity, and thanks to the rug, Anahit is able to free her husband.
